Knf1.0 The Late Director. Anthony Kithinji Mwongo. HDR, A.K Mwongo
Dubbed as the Father of Herbalism, Anthony Kithinji Mwongo was the Chairperson of the Africa Herbalists Association. He was the founder of Kenya Neem Foundation and was authorized to operate herbal cures all over Eastern Africa. He was the chief herbalist, he had fully qualified in understanding all the types of soils, management and their uses in the establishment of tree plantations in Kenya. It is in this respect that we received an Environmental Leadership Award from the Eastern Africa Environmental Network. (E.A.E.N) and an Award from the (United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for best practices on Indigenous Technologies in Combating Desertification and Mitigating the effects of Drought. He was the chairman Eastern Africa Herbalist Association (EAHA), and the chairman African Traditional Health Providers International (ATHEP-INT). There is need to have herbal medicine analyzed to rule out poisons and confirm effectiveness. Credible laboratories like KEFRI, University of Nairobi or Kenyatta University may assist. In this test, UNIQUE curative active ingredient detected in Kenyan herbs may redeem the whole world. There may be research institutions whose objective is to kill local initiative to protected drug markets. Our Herbal drugs have passed a Phytochemical analysis tests at KEFRI (Kenya Forestry Research Institute)
